My personal thoughts and beliefs regarding religion. Hold on bishes… ready or not, here it comes.
I think it is high time that I shared my thoughts on religion with the masses since most people who follow me carry the false pretenses that I am an atheist. For the record, I am not an atheist by any means or stretch of the imagination. In all honestly, I have yet to determine what exactly it is I believe in. Sure, I post a ton of controversial material poking fun at Christians but one must understand that ignorant, bible-thumping fucktards show up on my page regularly condemning me for what I post. The way I see it: what goes around, comes around. It’s called karma and I strongly believe in that.
As far as religion, I believe it has become a joke and a money-making machine driven by greed, politics, power and numerous other ulterior motives. This is exactly why I treat it as a joke, besides the fact that religious zealots come to me with their ignorance as aforementioned, thus effectively placing a bulls-eye on their foreheads. I strongly believe in the philosophy of “Live and let live.”, but when you come to my house looking to stir up trouble, I can guarantee that your plan is going to backfire in your face nine times out of ten.
Allow me to provide my religious background for you. I was raised Mormon and read the Bible in its entirety before I was 15 years of age. I am well versed on the goings-on of the New and Old Testaments, as well as the additional books that were added to the Bible by Mormons(i.e. The Book of Mormon, The Pearl of Great Price and The Doctrine of Covenants). My problem with the Bible is its overwhelming lack of consistency, and the fact that 40 different prophets transcribed it over a period of at least 1600 years. Not to mention its numerous translations throughout history. Also, the fact that it is a book, a compilation of stories and a very difficult one to navigate and interpret at that. I do however, believe that if one is intelligent enough to decipher the Bible properly, then valuable experience and wisdom can be gained from it, but let’s face it folks, not many individuals out there are capable of doing so effectively and efficiently.
As far as the existence of Heaven and Hell… who the fuck knows? Not one of us here on Earth can honestly say that we have been there. Until we can, shut the fuck up with that shit. I have a scientific mind and have difficulties believing in something that hasn’t been validated. I believe that we, as individuals, have the right to believe in whatever the fuck it is we choose to believe in. Quite frankly people shouldmind
